It was only eight in the morning, but the sun was already ruining my weekend, invading my room and scorching my legs. But I refused to be bested by it, and continued to lie in my bed. After all, it was not time yet.

“Taeminnie.” My morning voice was hoarse, and was considerably soft. But I knew he heard me from behind the close door.
A short silence ensued as I strain to hear the surroundings. Moments later, the knob turned, the door opened to reveal my brother still in his PJs. His morning face was still in a daze, and annoyed as he is, he was still obedient. “Omo, how cute he is.’
Smiling to myself, I sat up on my bed, and patted on the space beside me, inviting him over. Reluctantly, he does so, and immediately I wrapped my arms around his waist, as my head lean on his shoulder.
“Noona neomu yeppo,…”
Feeling all mighty better, I let him go. “Alright, thank you. You may go now.” I giggled, giving him a pat on his back before he quickly got up and stomp out of my room.
Lying back in bed, I decided, it was a good morning.
